  We had a wonderful weekend here. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It's an old building and very pretty but it does get a bit cold. We arrived late and the staff had already put the portable heater in our room on ready for our arrival so it was cosy and warm (which was very thoughtful of them). The bar area is just great. Really nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was decent too. Reasonable selection and good quality.

  The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. They showed us the room in advance of booking (we were walk-ins). The rooms are not modern if thats what you are looking for. They are very rustic and highly scottish themed, but they are clean, which is all that really mattered to us. Free breakfast was included and it was a decent spread. Overall, nice, quaint place to stay.

  No WiFi in rooms only get it at reception. Very poor phone signal if any. Paper cups in rooms for your tea/coffee
